Herbal & Entrepreneurial Mentorship Programs 2026
A one to three year hybrid mentorship for becoming an intuitive herbalist, product maker and entrepreneur.
VSAC grant funding available starting July 1. Program starts this fall for the 2026 cohort!
Mentorship based in liberation practices centering justice, pleasure, consent, body
empowerment, ritual and spirituality from a trauma-informed lens.
Students will be acquiring in depth knowledge of the human body, traditional herbal
medicine systems, plant identification, business planning and marketing. Students will
be guided in best practices for food and herbal handling in an apothecary and will be
expected to fulfill work on their own time setting up, maintaining and upgrading their
own apothecaries. Students will come away with skills in website design, financial
projections, legal compliance and formulation. Anatomy, Physiology, pathophysiology,
chemistry, pharmacology, scientific research and flower essences will be woven
throughout the mentorship.
Students will be expected to complete a formal business plan and seven unique
products to sell including marketable containers and labels. In the completion of the
mentorship, students will write their own materia medica and offer one class to the
public. Students will have a new or upgraded website to sell such products as well as
market their class. Website will be in FDA compliance.
