​You are invited to participate in learning through hands-on experience with gardening, wildcrafting, medicine making, justice, entrepreneurship, embodiment, sex, reproduction, regeneration and magic.

Draw botanicals in the lovely gardens of White Dove Sanctuary, in the midst of acres of beautiful flowers and herbs. We will learn drawing skills as well as time to connect, listen and draw details, shapes and color of your chosen herb or flower

Jesse, (she/her) is a poet, visual artist residing in unceded land of both Anishnabe in Michigan

and Abenaki in Vermont. She studied poetry at Vermont College. Her book Native was

published in 2020. She was a participating fellow of Nature Culture’s Writing the Land Project,

with poems in the anthologies, Windblown 1, Migration and Home. She has poems in Plant and

Poetry and Blue, Humana Obscura and The Sea Letter. She has been teaching classes for

PoemCity in Montpelier for 15 years
